St. Pauls Church is in Abbotsbury Road and I can recall the St. Pauls Harriers from the 1950s.
These athletes were members in the 1913/1914 season when they won The Hambro Challenge Cup.

Barrett,N.Reed,H.Shaw,E. Lovell, W.L.Simmons (Handicapper) T.H. Prankherd (Hon. Sec & Treasurer) Front Row; W. Anderson, R. Brown, R.T. Wellman,G. Bazell (Captain), C. New (sub Captain), W. Brantingham, R. Lovell.

I wonder if the W. Brantingham(2nd. Right Front Row) is the same Billy Brantingham who owned the Grocers Shop in Lennox St.

Again one is left to wonder how many of these young men survived the Great War to old age.
