Another great aerial
view looking north towards The Ridgeway.
The three church spires stand out, the twin spires of Gloucester and
just beyond is the tower of Christchurch,both no longer standing. However
St. John's church is still with us and is clearly visible.
Bottom left can be seen The Regent (later The Gaumont) Cinema and Dance
Hall.
In the distance can be seen Lodmoor, now acar park and Nature Reserve.
Dorchester Road appears to be the northern Boundary of housing.
