Old Friends

A photo of, David Coombes, my best friend in those far off days of summer when life seemed to stretch ahead .

Just the one car in the distance which as I recall belonged to one of the two gentlemen who operated the tea warehouse just out of the picture. They were always smartly suited and were never without their trilby hats. the building behind the car was the Walls Ice Cream warehouse and the kerbside was often filled with the dry ice used in the 'StopMe and Buy One' Sale Cycles.

Three young gentleman out for a Sunday lunchtime stroll.
Tony Hamilton on the left, yours truly and Michael Charles on the right.

The alsation is 'Prince' a well adjusted alsation.
