I have several cards of the various Pierrot Troupes who I assume performed on the vaudeville stage erected on the sands opposite Chesterfield Place.
This photo was taken by S.J. Herbert who had the Waverley Studio in St. Thomas St. after 1920.
His son, Graham, was to record the passing scene in Weymouth for a number of years.

It is interesting to compare the members of this group with the other group, photographed against the similar background, probably the team from another year and almost certainly the Val Veaux Vaudeville Troupe..
