Weymouth - The St. Helier C.I. Steamer
![]() |
The 'Jersey Boat' was how they were collectively known although they always went to both Guernsey and Jersey. Arriving from the shipyard in 1925 St. Helier saw service until the 1960s, including 6 years war service. St. Julien, Sambur, Roebuck and the relief ship St. Patrick were the vessels I recall with affection, they had such character. |
